February Folk Day: Dave Burland + Swing'em Fair + Notts Alliance + Deportees + Rose Price
February Folk Day will feature a host of acts as well as a Ceilidh, Harmony Workshop and a music and song session. Plus there will be a real ale bar and home cooked food.
Dave Burland
Barnsley-based guitarist with a string of acclaimed albums and considered one of the most respected performers on the British folk scene.
Dave left the Police Force in 1968 to pursue a career in folk music, as a singer and guitar player. He has appeared on recordings with Kate Rusby, Nic Jones, Richard Thompson, Mike Harding, Tony Rose, Bob Pegg and many others.
