Crescendo Tour Concert

The third concert of the orchestra's Crescendo Tour, conducted by Mark Eager. Great works for smaller orchestras from Mendelssohn, Beethoven and Faure are intermixed with a lovely piece from Welsh composer Gareth Glyn, and a new piece from the orchestra's Composer in Residence.

This is one of only three concerts from The Welsh Sinfonia at the Dora Stoutzker Hall this season, as they travel widely throughout Wales in connection with the groundbreaking Crescendo project to build orchestras in secondary schools.
