Sure Shot celebrates the roots of sample based music in the shape of the funk, soul and boogie gems that inspired much of the music we love today.

The rhythms are crafted by accomplished guest DJs each month.

This month Sure Shot has DJ Smoove, a well established producer, international DJ, live performer, re-mixer and label boss for Wass Records and Wack Records.

Also part of the duo, Smoove & Turrell, they are currently writing album number three and are frequently on tour with their seven-piece live band.

Warming up the dance-floor for Smoove is a Hully Gully lad that goes by the name of DJ Veto. He plays nothing but the funkiest, most soulful grooves. He only plays vinyl and has silky smooth skills to complement.
