Musical Magnificence

A magnificent programme of music including Mozart's sublime concerto for harp and flute, featuring the stunning playing of Camilla Pay and Rosemary Rathbone. The Concert opens with one of Rossini's most loved overtures from Cinderella, and also features Irish composer, Michael McGlynn's short piece Farewell to Music, dedicated to the memory of the late Derek Bell (of Chieftains fame). The Concert concludes with Beethoven's dramatic Symphony No. 5.

Programme to include:

Rossini - Overture La Cenerentola
McGlynn - Farewell to Music
Mozart - Flute and Harp Concerto KV299
Beethoven - Symphony No. 5 in C minor Op 67
