Cambridge Literary Festival
Join us for a wonderful celebration of poetry from Carol Ann Duffy, who has been Britain’s Poet Laureate since 2009, and Gillian Clarke, who in 2008 became the National Poet of Wales. Carol Ann and Gillian will read from their work and discuss the responsibilities and opportunities associated with their posts, from composing poems to mark public occasions to the chance they have to inspire new generations to make poetry a part of their daily lives.
