Model Village's Harvest Festival
Cambridge-based pop group, Model Village, is celebrating the release of their new EP in seasonal fashion holding a harvest-themed event. The bounty of the season displayed upon the stage from the band members' gardens, allotments and pantries.
Tying in with World Homelessness Day, after the show all the goods will be donated to local homelessness charity Wintercomfort, in support of their "Wake Up With Wintercomfort" campaign.
Anyone who brings additional donations of food for the Harvest Festival will receive a free download code for the group's new EP, You Are Now Leaving the Future, featuring three tunes about the A14, dadaist artists and Northern nightclubs.
Model Village's Harvest Festival will be held on Friday 10th October at the Portland Arms, providing a musical celebration of the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness and raising awareness for an issue that hits hard this time every year. The line up is completed by fellow locals Alicia Catling and group Holden Girls.
