Dancing And The Divine

From Montserrat in Spain to Oaxaca Cathedral in Mexico, K'antu Ensemble explore dancing and devotional song in Europe and the New World.

Music and dance have long been associated with religious feasts and festivities. Through the records made by priests such as Arbeau in France and Martinez Companon in Peru, K'antu reveal the vibrant world of Renaissance and Baroque dancing.

K'antu are currently promoting their debut CD Gusto, as featured on BBC Radio 3?s Late Junction. Their elegant vocals and large array of historical instruments, combined with innovation and passion for their art, promises a memorable performance.

Tickets also available from Levines in Calstock.
