Explorers Connect

Our monthly Explorers Connect event gives you the opportunity to meet fellow adventurers in a Bristol bar, full of people who have done interesting stuff or are looking to do something exciting. Catch up on all the expedition and adventure news. Meet like-minded people. Get inspired. Everyone welcome.

This October, Bristol explorers will present a talk by Ingrid and Amanda about rowing across the Pacific! On June 18th, Team Boatylicious left Monterey, California to row 2,400 miles to Honolulu, Hawaii across the Pacific. They spent 50 days on board a 24-foot ocean rowing boat, carrying all of their food and equipment and rowing for 12 hours each every day. They overcame breakages and narrowly avoided a hurricane before setting a Guinness World record as the First Female Four to row this route!

They've just arrived back in the UK this week, so we look forward to being amongst the first to hear their stories!
