Downs Discovery Day
Peregrine Watch 10am - 3pm - Volunteers from the Bristol Ornithological Club will be on hand to show the family of peregrines that live in the Avon Gorge. Drop-in activity. Meet at the peregrine watch point, Circular Road, Clifton Downs.
Trees and Wildflowers Walk 10:30am - 12:30pm - Join Richard Bland from the Friends of the Downs and Avon Gorge on a stroll through the meadows and learn to identify the rich diversity of trees and wildlflowers. Meet near the junction of Ladies Mile and Circular Road.
Butterfly Walk 2pm - 3:30pm - Discover how to identify butterflies with members of the Friends of the Downs and Avon Gorge, and see how many you can spot along the way. Meet near the junction of Ladies Mile and Circular Road.
