Twomanting Ep Launch: Two Man Ting
Sunshine Afro-roots duo launch their new EP 'Ar Lek U'. Following on from their acclaimed album "Legacy" of 2011, the EP is a bright mix of Highlife, Palm Wine and dub, inspired by Freetown, Sierra Leone, but honed in the sunny/muddy fields of the UK festival circuit.
Two Man Ting
Afro-roots duo from Sierra Leone/UK, formed out of the ashes of World/dance act Le Cod Afrique in 2004. Jon Lewis (guitar, loops, vocals) and Jah-man Aggrey (vocals, percussion) play a mix of original highlife, palm-wine, and meringa tunes - melodic guitar lines, high energy rhythms, and Krio words on subjects as diverse as childhood memories, political protest and er...duvets.
