Isabelle Cornaro

In her installations, plaster and elastomer casts, films, drawings and spray paintings, Isabelle Cornaro uses found objects and images imbued with emotional value or symbolic potential (hair, jewellery, measuring tools, decorative objects, coins, rugs etc.), which she subjects to different taxonomical systems and modes of display. Cornaro presents new work that explores the extent to which representation and vision are historically and culturally biased. This exhibition is in collaboration with the South London Gallery.
