162 Annual Open Exhibition

The South West’s biggest art competition returns for its 162nd year featuring invited artist Peter Blake.

The RWA ends the year in a celebratory fashion with its Annual Open Exhibition. This marks a fitting end to a year of stunning exhibitions, featuring well-known names including JMW Turner, John Constable and the brothers John and Paul Nash, alongside leading contemporary international artists such as Tim Shaw RA, Norman Ackroyd RA and Ione Rucquoi.

Now in its 162nd year the exhibition creates an opportunity for artists at any stage of their career to show alongside established names such as invited artist Sir Peter Blake, Kurt Jackson RWA, Ken Howard RWA and the HRH The Prince of Wales, an RWA Honorary Academician. Showcasing the cream of painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture and architecture, this popular show provides something for everyone.
