Gypsy

Bristol Musical Comedy Club (BMCC) presents one of the best loved Musicals to come out of Broadway. Gypsy follows the dreams and efforts of Rose, the ultimate show business mother, raising her two daughters to perform onstage. Baby June and Baby Louise soon start growing up and start realising that the world their mother has created around may not be everything they expect it to be.

Gypsy casts an affectionate eye on the hardships and comedy of show business and contains many well loved songs such as "Everything's Coming Up Roses", "Gotta Get A Gimmick" and "Let Us Entertain You". Colourful characters, comedy situations and some classic musical numbers... everything that Bristol Musical Comedy Club are known for! Gypsy is sure to entertain with this heartfelt story performed by a very talented cast.

A Musical Fable. Book by Arthur Laurents. Music by Jule Styne. Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Suggested by memories of Gypsy Rose Lee. Original Production by David Merrick & Lelland Hayward. Entire Production originally directed and Choreographed by Jerome Robbins. By arrangement with MusicScope and Stage Musicals Limited of New York.
