Husky Tones, The Real King(s) of Spain

RKoS return to the scene of their triumphant album launch party earlier in the year and their spiritual home at Mr Wolf's who always provide a warm welcome and an enthusiastic crowd.

The Real King(s) of Spain, are an experimental art rock duo who incorporate electronic, instrumental, spoken word, sample, internet-download and political elements into their sound. Live they are a throbbing six-piece with live driving beats and bouncing bass under the polemic tunes and rants spiced by keyboards and guitar with the odd explosion thrown in.

The Husky Tones are a Bristol based blues and soul band with a repertoire of original arrangements of songs by such artists as Freddy King, Marcia Ball, Nina Simone, Otis Redding, Albert King, Tom Waits, Marlena Shaw and many more.
