The Place Makers: Pioneering Tactics, Tools, And Tales From The Community
What makes a place? And who does the making?
Great places and loved spaces are not just the gift of politicians, architects and engineers. Beneath the grand visions and masterplans, there are people developing ideas and quietly making things happen, from someone putting on a pop-up market, to a family building their own home.
This event brings together pioneering activists from local communities across Bristol to explore what you need to know to make an impact on where you live.
Free transport from the Architecture Centre will be available to take participants to the Knowle West Media Centre. The bus will pick people up from the Architecture Centre at 5:30pm, and return them after the event. If you would like transport, please book a place with melissa.mean@kwmc.org.
Booking for this event is essential. Email melissa.mean@kwmc.org.uk
