All My Sons

Set in 1947, the play is about a family torn apart in the aftermath of war. The father owns a business which made aeroplane parts during the war. Some faulty parts were dispatched and 21 airmen were killed. His business partner is in jail as a result but doubt still hangs over Joe’s head. His son, wife and partner’s daughter all have faith in him but the partner’s son had doubts.

The play takes place in the back yard of the house over a weekend and examines the different scales of values between the father and his son and the blind loyalty of the wife.

One for all those fans of Arthur Miller and of American Literature. A truly wonderful play.
