‘Slimline’ Henry Slim knows the blues harmonica inside out – quite literally, as he repairs and customises them. Naturally he blows a mean harp, too, and his well-established blues duo with ‘Good Biscuit’ guitarist and singer Ben Sayer combines the lonesome dust of a long-forgotten country crossroads with the late-night sleaze of downtown Chicago, catching a range of styles with conviction and authenticity.

With Joe Allen’s bass and the multi-instrumental Leonie Evans (the other Good Biscuit) on drums this new quartet line-up promises a fine sound.
