Sam Sweeney

Bellowhead’s fiddle player Sam Sweeney tells the incredible story of the violin that took almost 100 years to make. During this multimedia performance, Sweeney alongside bandmate Paul Sartin, storyteller Hugh Lupton, concertina player Rob Harbron and lighting designer Emma Thompson, brings the reality of World War I to the present day as he performs using an actual fiddle made by non-returning WWI soldier Richard Spencer Howard.
