Dancing With My Ghosts

A new play exploring the experiences of being adopted.

Chris spent his life searching for his birth parents only to discover they died many years before he found them. He attempts to reconstruct the moment of his birth and discover the affair that led to his conception. Drawing upon facts facts from adoption papers and his own experiences he finds a way of coming to terms with the ghosts that have haunted him all his life. Set in Bristol the story tells of the love affair between William, a chief solicitors clerk, and Barbara Louisa, a waitress at Carwardines Coffee House.
