Dry the River
A five-piece band with all the hallmarks of folk: elemental name, beards, acoustic guitars, even a violinist, but with a background in hardcore and post-punk bands, hence the tattoos, lyrics that read like a Steinbeck novel and a sonic palette that sweeps from gentle to giant like an incoming storm. Signed to Transgressive Records (Foals, Mystery Jets, Pulled Apart By Horses etc).
Dry the River tour dates
Spector
"They've been dubbed 'East London's answer to The Strokes' or 'Dalston's Kaiser Chiefs', Spector's melancholic widescreen pop owes as much to the likes of Roxy Music and Pulp and has more than a touch of the New Romantic about it." - BBC Sound Of 2012
Spector tour dates
We Are The Ocean
A band with a difference from the outskirts of London. Blissful harmonies with heartfelt singing.
We Are The Ocean tour dates
Friends
Sensual, provocatively percussive pop comes naturally to Friends. This quintet of essential and un-missable characters, led by the captivating Samantha Urbani, are unified by their single-minded musical independence and defiant trend resistance. These Friends play in traffic at a busy intersection of leftfield but party-hardy musical styles – ESG, Tom Tom Club, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Warpaint – which they orchestrate effortlessly and winningly into a singular aesthetic.

A Winged Victory For The Sullen
Dustin O'Halloran and Adam Wiltzie create the duo who mix classical, ambient and post-rock sounds to create music with grand (piano) ambitions. It is instrumental music, mainly comprising strings and drones that sound like a movie soundtrack of the world. It’s a beautiful, haunting composition that soundtracks life as we know it, although you won't feel sullen after you hear this, you'll feel triumphant and peaceful.
A Winged Victory For The Sullen tour dates
Jamie N Commons
Young folk troubadour from London with touches of Richard Thompson and Nick Drake. It's hard to believe he's not American - he was born in Bristol (though he did spend his formative years in Chicago).
"With a whiskey and nicotine soaked growl of a voice, a five piece band and a bunch of songs that sound like they were uncovered in an attic where they'd been lying there since 1959 waiting for Johnny Cash or Nick Cave to cover them" - BBC Sounds Of 2012.
Jamie N Commons tour dates
Django Django
Devo-inpsired catchy hooks from this London 4-piece. Think an up tempo Beta Band. "Psychedelic art pop at its brilliant best" -The Guardian.
Django Django tour dates
Eagulls
Labelled as hardcore and punk band, these guys embellish both these terms.
Eagulls tour dates
Com Truise
An admitted synth obsessive, New Jersey's Com Truise is the maker of an experimental and bottom heavy style he calls ‘mid-fi synthwave, slow-motion funk’.
Com Truise tour dates
When Saints Go Machine
Danish electro four-piece band, formed in 2007. The all-boy electro pop band are often compared to the likes of Bloc Party and Empire Of The Sun. Combining vocoder and a colorful downbreaking electro effect, though associated more with indie rock than electro, WSGM are tying together a unique frame, creating a new echo in the history of electro pop.
When Saints Go Machine tour dates
Sonic Boom Six
SB6 are a group in the tradition of UK punk bands such as The Specials, The Clash and King Prawn that push the musical envelope by mixing contemporary underground sounds of the UK with a rocking live show and educational lyrics. Although there really is no-one else quite like these energetic ragga muffins. Expect a variety, from hiphop beats to summer vibes and skacore riffs, this band have it all. 'Miss Dynamite fronting CapDown'.

Sweet songs, sweet sounds, sweet voice. François Marry is a fantastically talented French-born electro-pop artist residing in Bristol, his songs rich in warmth and character and tinged with a lo-fi nature. His gifted band, The Atlas Mountains, provide more than just backing in works laden with keyboard beeps, gorgeous harps, guitars and much more.

Bos Angeles
Just as the last few rays of Indian summer sun disappear from the increasingly gloomy skies, a much needed hit of fuzz-filled ray beams and youthful abandon arrives in the form of the UK's best new lo-fi indie-punks. Hailed as one of the most eagerly anticipated new bands around.
