Charity Chuckle: Lucy Porter, Jo Neary, Joe Wells, David James, Helen Arney, Rachel Parris, Ingrid Dahle, Lucy Beaumont, Luisa Omielan
Produced by Brighton based comedians Jim Holland and Kerry Herbert, Charity Chuckle showcases new comedy talent while raising money for local charities.
Charity Chuckle has been running successfully for three years and is the first and best comedy fundraiser in the South. The promoters love live comedy and as regulars on the circuit they pick quality new acts, having introduced Brighton to such comics as Josh Widdicombe, Hannibal Buress and David James. Last year alone they raised over £3,500 for charity.
Charity Chuckle is every second Tuesday of the month at the Latest MusicBar, Brighton.

Lucy Porter
Diminutive stand-up comedian making a big name for herself. Within seconds of appearing on stage, her flirty, gossipy, effervescent style charms everybody! She has written for many top comedians, including Johnny Vaughan, Gail Porter and Griff Rhys Jones, and starred on many TV stand-up comedy shows.
'Clever, chatty and charming' (Three Weeks)
'Impeccably punch-lined anecdotes of the everyday... genuinely delightful' (The Daily Telegraph)
'She is like your witty friend who's always brilliant company down the pub. Many stand-ups would give their non-drinking arms to be able to transfer that kind of sparkling bar-room bonhomie to the stage and Porter does it effortlessly' (The Scotsman).

Jo's trademark character observations, astute social commentary and songs have established her as one of the UK's finest character comediennes.
