Cage Without Silence
A celebration of the music and life of John Cage (1912 - 1992) who was one of the 20th centuries most influential composers, and was hugely prolific.
This concert - carefully timed to coincide with his 101st birthday - includes music from the 1940s to the 1980s for piano, prepared piano, chamber orchestra, percussion ensemble, massed radios and more besides.
Classics like "In A Landscape", "Radio Music" and the mighty "Atlas Eclipticalis" will be performed alongside lesser known works like "6", "Swinging" and "An Ear for Ear".
