Now, David Tristram, creator of the original video and one of the country's most popular comedy playwrights, has created a stage version which is guaranteed to provide "bums" on seats.

It's a riotous concoction of affectionate Black Country humour and biting social satire, which brings the self-confessed "lazy cow" up close and personal. Living off a complex package of benefits topped up with a little shoplifting, Britain's most famous lady of leisure introduces us to her family, friends and neighbours, and we hear the views of those that try to shape her life - a colourful collection of Job Centre Managers, Employers, Government Ministers, Teachers, Diversity Officers, Lawyers - all brought to life by a superb supporting cast.
