WBQ plays music inspired by Oscar Wilde's children's story The Nightingale and the Rose. This suite of music employs beautiful melodies and rich and dark harmony to retell Wilde's tale of love and sacrifice. The quartet uses these melodies as starting points for improvisation, and the result is intense, exhilarating music-making.
