The Busch Ensemble is a London-based piano trio founded in November 2010. Named after the legendary violinist Adolf Busch, this young trio has emerged as one of the leading British ensembles among the new generation. Winners of the 2012 Royal Overseas League Competition, the trio has gone on to win numerous prizes across Europe.

The second half spans the 20th century: Fauré's only piano trio is preceded by the First Trio of 1981 by Wolfgang Rihm, Germany's leading living composer.
'The performance showed the ensemble's incredible unity, abundant facility and deep musical understanding.' Musical Pointers.
