John Ethridge – Sweet Chorus: John Etheridge
originally formed as a personal tribute to his mentor and inspiration Stéphane Grappelli, with whom he worked for five years. Taking its cue from the Hot Club of France - the legendary group that featured Grappelli and Django Reinhardt - the band features John's dazzling guitar and the scintillating violin of Chris Garrick. One of the most potent relationships in European jazz, they're backed up by the propulsive drive of Dave Kelbie (guitar) and Andy Crowdy (bass), producing breathtaking sallies through repertoire old and new.

One of the world's most respected guitarists, John Etheridge's music spans a myriad of styles and influences. The guitarist for the celebrated jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli, Etheridge currently duos with the eminent classical guitarist, John Williams and has also performed with Soft Machine, Pat Metheny, Andy Summers and Nigel Kennedy. This is a rare opportunity to see John performing a solo concert.
