Taking many of Ellington's most revered compositions Lockheart has arranged these characterful melodies into a fascinating new set, rich in orchestration and concept but entirely respectful to Ellington's original creations. Featuring an all-star seven-piece line-up of some of the most exciting and original musicians in the UK, this is a unique project which beautifully combines the old with the new.
