Henry Scotland V England
A modern-day adaptation of Shakespeare's Henry V, with the conflict re-worked to England vs Scotland. When Henry's uncle Falstaff dies intestate, he expects to inherit the family cottage. He reckoned without Falstaff's Scottish landlord, who lives in the cottage now. Rather than go through a complicated and costly legal battle, Henry decides to woo the landlord's daughter, and get the cottage through marriage.
In this thinly veiled political satire we see old Etonian Captain Daniel Camcock masterfully steer the SS Pride of the Albion though troubled waters whilst competing with wistfully romantic love rival teddy Contraband. If that wasn't enough to spoil his cruise he also has to contend with Rumanian stowaways; placate Russian oligarchs and banish the Scottish passengers to a 'bonnie boatie' all of their own. And just what is in that box marked WMD?
