Are We Happy Yet?

Are We Happy Yet? is part of a 12 month program of exploration by Official Culture as they investigate the relationship between Spectacular Capitalism and war. The performance draws on the imagery of war and of every day life, of capitalism's dull western ache and of its explosive, expansionist thud. Orange jump suits and achey breaky hearts. Covered heads and faces and boring Americana. Pop the kettle on, there's a war going on.

This performance represents the midpoint of a year long process, so can be considered to be a work in progress as part of a wider body of work and research.

Each performance will be followed by a question and answer session, at which the audience are invited to question, interrogate and argue with the collective.
