Love’s Welcome At Bolsover
Bolsover Castle embarks on a faithful reproduction of the entertainment written and performed for Kings Charles I’s and Queen Henrietta Maria’s visit to the Castle in 1634.
Sit within the glorious surroundings of the Fountain Garden, with the statue of Venus at its centre, as you're taken back to the day Cavendish attempted to impress the royal couple with this Ben Jonson play.
Recreated for English Heritage by Brunel University.
