Never miss another 'Band of Skulls' show
Band of Skulls + Folks + John J Presley
Band Of Skulls have announced details of an Autumn tour including London's Brixton Academy show on December 7th. These will be the band's biggest U.K. headline shows to date.
Band of Skulls
The London-based trio formerly known as Fleeing New York before changing their name in 2008. Band of Skulls are a garage rock sensation originally formed by three college friends: Russell Marsden, Emma Richardson and Matt Hayward. In late 2009 the track 'I Know What I Am' from their debut album 'Baby Darling Doll Face Honey' was chosen as iTunes' Single Of The Week.

Folks
Folks conjure up a powerful blend of soulful melodies with intelligent left-field lyrics, laced with psychedelic guitar and a dose of pop sensibility.
Bringing together classic songwriting with emotive vocals and irresistible melodies, Folks make music to be listened to and enjoyed over and over. The band were formed when guitarist and writer Michael Beasley hooked up with vocalist Scott Anderson, and they relocated to the US to record what would end up being their debut album, to be released early 2012.
On their return, the duo pulled together a full band (Thom Fripp – lead guitar, Harry Gumery – bass, Wil Akroyd - keyboards and Elliot Barlow –drums) which ensured this group could also let rip live.

John J Presley
Citing influences from Tom Waits, The Kills, Josh T Pearson & Duke Garwood, John Presley & his band conjure up their own concoction of Blues with a Folk Noir attention to detail. An autumn tour with Jim Jones Revue has only wet the appetite more.
'Without doubt one of the most interesting talented musicians out there at the moment' Alex Baker, Kerrang! Radio. 'People attempt to do this kind of stuff but JP's amongst the best of the bunch- Jack White would cream himself silly'
