The multi-talented 5-piece Interplay returns to Symphony Hall with their latest selection of original tunes, global grooves and jazz favourites, and a new album, 'Global', under their belt.
The band features creative veteran Alan Wakeman on saxes, outstanding trombonist Richard Baker, and in-demand Neil Hunter on keys. Adrian Litvinoff (basses) and Dave Balen (drums, percussion) bring their distinctive rhythmic approach to the band's repertoire of original tunes, jazz favourites and global grooves.
In case that all sounds slightly serious, a recent reviewer said Interplay 'bring exuberance and an instant atmosphere of fun', while Gilles Peterson described 'Global' as a 'beautiful record'.
