With two sold-out tours already under their belt, comedy upstarts The Midnight Beast are back - bigger, better and bolder than ever! They've got new songs, new dance moves and in October will air their explosive new routines in the flesh to willing participants for a massive 11-date UK tour.
Detonating their very own viral bomb - Ke$ha parody 'Tik Tok' – back in 2009, The Midnight Beast went on to make headlines in 2011 as the fastest unsigned band to sell out KOKO (in a matter of hours). They played a slew of festivals last year – including Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds – and with over 46 million YouTube hits to their name, are all set to sink their teeth into the year!
The Midnight Beast
Stefan Abingdon, Dru Wakely and Ashley Horne write songs with an emphasis on parody. A trio of comedy upstarts with musical know-how, The Midnight Beast detonated their very own viral bomb in December 2009 – ‘Tik Tok’. A hilarious parody of the Ke$ha song, it wracked up over 25,000 YouTube hits by the end of the first day and subsequently turned the group into bona fide Internet sensations.
