Carols At Number Nine: Fiori Musicali
Fishmarket, Northampton's flagship contemporary art gallery, moves to a new home at Number Nine, Guildhall Road in time for Christmas.
To celebrate, Fiori evoke the ghost of Christmas past with a celebration of carols and tales from Dickensian times.
Be the guests at what was Franklin's Hotel and toast the success of Fishmarket's new season.
With old instruments, and singer dressed in period costume, Fiori Musicali tell the story of how Christmas came to be revived in the 19th century.
Fiori Musicali
Founded in 1983 by director Penelope Rapson, Fiori Musicali specialise in authentic performances of 17th & 18th century music. They appear in many formats - as a choir, small chamber ensemble and chamber orchestra.
