Open Day
This is an opportunity to see behind the scenes at one of the country's biggest museum storage facilities.
You can explore thousands of objects at your own pace in the warehouse area and in two of the small object stores. These range from steam engines and motor cars to washers and vacuum cleaners with a host of other machines from Birmingham's rich industrial past.
For those with a more artistic leaning there are dozens of sculptures and literally thousands of pots from almost every period and every continent. There will also be an attraction of small live animals to complement the range of natural history specimens.
So whether you love science, industry, social history, art or the natural world there is something for everyone.
