Liz Weir: From Glen To Glen - Irish tales of love, loss and enchantment.

Liz Weir, from Northern Ireland, is one of those tellers that, despite having a formidable reputation and appearing in venues as diverse as the Vanderbilt Hall Grand Central Station, New York, remains in warm, personal contact with her audience.

As a children's librarian in 1970s Belfast, she learnt the healing powers of storytelling and has travelled, widely, as a storyteller.

First winner of the International Storybridge Award and other awards, her appearance at Birmingham Storytelling Café is not to be missed.
