Town Hall Gospel Choir, Gospel Central

Get into the gospel spirit this Christmas as the Town Hall's very own Gospel choir returns to its home stage, with support by local gospel outfit Gospel Central and a show hosted by BBC WM presenter Nikki Tapper.

Following a whirlwind year as the Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of The Year 2013, with a sell-out Christmas concert at the Drum in 2013 and a capacity crowd at The Adrian Boult Theatre in July, Town Hall Gospel Choir promises a spectacular celebration for the festive season.

This Christmas, the popular and energetic group brings the people's favourite hymns and songs with its famous "gospel twist"! Enjoy the TV award-winning Jesus Paid It All with its vocal-gymnastic canon ending, the intense fast-paced Deliver Daniel along with Christmas classics such as Carol of the Bells, Mary Had A Little Baby and Rejoice Greatly. New seasonal songs will include The First Noel and It Came Upon A Midnight Clear - all delivered with the choir's Gospel harmonies, flavours and licks!
