Vaughan Williams Opera Scenes

Immerse yourself in scenes from the wonderful operas of the brilliant Ralph Vaughan Williams an English composer from Gloucestershire, of whom we are so proud.

Performed and directed by Jessica Friend, from Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, and in her final year at the Birmingham Conservatoire, this one-off event is dedicated to scenes from ‘Riders to the Sea’, ‘The Poisoned Kiss’, ‘Hugh the Drover’, ‘The Pilgrim’s Progress’ and ‘Sir John in Love’. Jessica will be joined in her performance by fellow students of Birmingham Conservatoire.

Before this unique performance, you are invited to a 30 minute wine reception. The audience will then enjoy 75 minutes of exquisite, inspiring and thought provoking music.
