Didi and Friends, at the BCU International Piano Academy, Dress Code: Colourful!
This concert features International Piano Academy staff, including renowned pianists Mark Bebbington, Malcolm Wilson and Di Xiao. Come and enjoy an evening of fabulous piano music from Liszt, Debussy, Kapustin and Messiaen. This is set to be an evening full of imagination and colour so we hope you will join us in our dress code by wearing something bright.
The evening also includes a special guest - jazz singer, Ann Arscott. As a professional singer, Ann has sung in jazz clubs all over the world and even competed on Stars In Their Eyes. She also sang alongside Birmingham jazz legend Andy Hamilton. But after a devastating stroke in 2009, Ann lost the power of speech, leaving her with no way to communicate. Incredibly, she has discovered she can still sing! Come along and be inspired.
