His deceptively friendly and engaging stage presence masks a sharp, dry wit which can be turned to subjects as diverse as suicide bombers in the Middle East to the perils of flying EasyJet. Despite a fondness for topical material, any performance is likely to be peppered with some inspired silliness and a little audience-related improvisation.

His style is laconic, like the lovechild of Julian Clary and Jeremy Clarkson, and his material draws on his previous modes of employment: bouncer, car dealer, estate agent. A brilliant storyteller, who draws the audience into his bizarre,, imaginary, exaggerated universe. He was a finalist at the 2002 BBC New Comedy Awards.
