Bath Fringe Festival: Beyond Six-Strings: John Doan
Music from award winning recording "Eire - Isle of the Saints" (Winner of "Best Celtic Album of the Year") and Wayfarer (also nominated). Twenty-string harp guitar, with storytelling and a multi-media presentation, takes audiences on a Celtic pilgrimage inspired by St. Patrick and others during the Golden Age of Ireland.

John Doan
One of the few master of the rare twenty-string hard guitar, built with an extended second neck and extra unfretted bass and treble strings, as championed by Michael Hedges. He has performed with a wide range of artists from Donovan to Burl Ives.
