Austin Bennett, an uptight greeting card writer walks in on his girlfriend and another man. Thrown back into the New York City dating world with only his misguided brother to lead him, Austin meets free-spirited Marcy, the opposite of everything he wants - or so he believes.

Austin and Marcy aren't what you might term a conventional match. But, both fresh out of relationships, they follow the well-meaning advice of their eccentric friends and siblings and begin their rocky road to acceptance and love one mistake at a time. After all, no one's perfect.
