The Women's Art Show 2013
Fairfields started organising exhibitions to celebrate International Women’s Day on the 8th of March, in 1993, and has done so since then (including for a short time in partnership) making it the longest running exhibition of work by women artists in this part of the region.
The work, which will be drawn from an open national submission to which any woman can submit work, promises to be a very diverse and exciting range of
work by women artists, across a wide range of media. You can see some of the past years’ exhibitions on the online gallery on Fairfield's website.
Fairfields would like to formally dedicate this exhibition to the memory of the late Izita Kerr, who, as an artist, teacher and generous human being, did a tremendous amount to support artists, paticularly many women artists, for many many years.
