The Incomers
The Incomers by Murray Lachlan Young is a hideously funny black farce in which four friends are slowly stripped of all their pretensions and secrets until nothing is left but the truth.
A full moon rises over a remote windswept cottage. The children are in bed…the wine is breathing and supper is in the Aga.
It’s Gordon and Celia’s wedding anniversary. They’ve asked their oldest and dearest friends Zach and Jane down from London for the weekend. The only problem is that Zach and Jane aren’t Zach and Jane anymore. Julia, a twenty five year old French burlesque dancer, has taken Jane’s place.
Written in his characteristic verse by BBC 6Music’s Poet in residence, Murray Lachlan Young, The Incomers will have you gasping and roaring with laughter in equal measures! Post-show talk with Paul Jepson
