Exhibition: Sara Clark

Sara Clark has been inspired by the sea and landscapes of North Devon for over 10 years. Previously, she was part of the Commercial Square Studios in Buckinghamshire undertaking various commissions, including a series of display work for Talent Television Studios in London.

This exhibition is a collection of oil paintings, co-created from local seascape visual reference. Like the sea, the light, and the energy, the work constantly evolves, changing as each previous surface is revealed, hidden or disguised.

The paint and brush has its own mind and just like jazz music, that element of surprise is what helps to evoke the truly improvisational nature of the environment around.
