April In Paris

This warm hearted comedy is from the author of Bouncers, Happy Jack, Teachers and was commissioned by the Hull Truck Theatre for the 1992 Hull Festival.

Bet & Al lead a quiet, humdrum life in their small Yorkshire home until Bet wins a “Romantic Breaks” competition in a magazine. The prize is a holiday for two in Paris. This is their first experience abroad. So come along and see the effect it has on them both, wrestling with the phrase book, trying out French cuisine and fending off would be muggers on the Metro.
