Food Fair Gig Night
Join us for a night of spectacular live music at River Cottage HQ for a post-Food Fair Gig Night on Saturday 23 May. Mad Dog Mcrea will be raising hands, lifting feet and getting the party started with their spellbinding recipe of folk, pop, rock, jazz, bluegrass and 'shake your body' music!
From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life, to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies - Mad Dog never fail to capture their audience with their infectious songs.
They were named 'Best Live Act' at the 2012 South West Music Awards, and in the same awards in 2011 their last album 'The Whirling Dervish' scooped 'Best Album of the Year'.
Warming you up will be Sam Green and the Midnight Heist, with their roots folk blues and rock'n'roll straight from the South West of England. With these two class acts providing the beats, let us dish up some quality grub and booze.
