China Crisis

Formed in 1979, China Crisis achieved chart success in the 80's with a number of acclaimed albums featuring the songs "Wishful Thinking", "It's Everything", "Black Man Ray" and "Diary of a Hollow Horse". China Crisis were classed as one of the new wave Liverpool acts.

With their first release in 1982 the band has had five top 40 singles and three top 40 albums in the UK with their most successful being their third album "Flaunt The Imperfection" produced by Walter Becker of Steely Dan reaching No 9 in the UK charts in 1985.

In 1994 the five peice band split and Gary and Eddie released to critical acclaim "Acoustically Yours" in 1995. Brian has played on-and-off with them since 1985.

In more recent years with new band members they have supported OMD on their UK tour in 2008 and performed at various UK Rewind concerts and festivals.

Founder members Gary Daly and Eddie Lundon will be joined by Brian McNeill on keyboard for a semi-acoustic evening.
