Medieval & Prehistoric Tour
Beginning at the Maritime Museum in Shiprow, Aberdeen’s oldest named street, you'll look at the city’s early developments as a tiny market town from the 12th century, and range across the medieval period then jump back in time to Aberdeen’s earliest settlers in the Gilcomston area and along the Denburn Valley.
Includes the monasteries of the Green; the Old Bow Brig route; Union Terrace Gardens; the Corbie & Spa Wells; Gillecoaim’s Toun and Hill Street, site of a prehistoric burial cairn and stone circle. Reversed route from last year.
