Introduction To Rocks

A series of seminars looking at how rocks are formed and how they affect the landscape we live in and their use by man through the ages. You will be able to look at rocks in thin sections under a special microscope and see a variety of specimens from the collections.

Day One - Igneous Rocks
Day Two - Sedimentary Rocks
Day Three - Metamorphic Rocks
